Liked this small hotel: great food and absolutely kind staff. The room was newly decorated with drinks, great air-con, as for instance, could leave my car on-site. The breakfast was awesome and amazing and had variety of food. The property was in a very central setting to all the places.

This is great sized hotel just off the main road in Ubud. I like it because it doesnt have heaps of rooms and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The garden and pool area is nice even if its small. Every room gets an offering placed outside in the morning and there is a good selection for breakfast. I recommend this hotel highly.

I stayed here for a trip and can't wait to go back. My deluxe room with drinks every evening was luxury. - the garden, for example, was beautiful. I can't wait to return to the Lumbung Sari Ubud Hotel. the deluxe room I stayed in was luxurious, and I particularly enjoyed the evening drinks and the beautiful garden on the premises. the room was well-equipped with coffee and tea makers, as well as a refrigerator for added convenience.

We enjoyed the hotel's Balinese character, with its wood-carved doors and statues. The hotel common space is outdoors and well-tended - nicely lit up at night. The breakfast was also good; we especially enjoyed the freshly-made jam (several flavours). They also provided complimentary fruit including salak (the snake skin fruit)! The staff were also very friendly, and made us feel comfortable in this resort-like hotel.
The first room that we checked into had an odour in the bathroom which smelled faintly of sewage. After complaining for a while, we were switched into another room. Though it didn't smell, the bathroom had a problem with drainage (as in it drained very slowly). We also didn't appreciate the hotel's hard sell - they kept trying to offer us taxi services when we wanted to spread our money among other local business people (who were also cheaper than the hotel). It makes sense that the hotel owner wants to monopolize on our presence and our money, but just because there's a restaurant in the hotel doesn't mean that you should constantly tell your guests to go eat there.

The staff were excellent at the hotel and the location was fabulous - halfway between the Palace and the Monkey Forest. The room was attractive and the bathroom luxurious. The hotel had a driver that was provided free of charge for short trips. Our daughter was on crutches so having the driver was particularly useful to us. Breakfast was a buffet with a good choice of western food plus some indonesian as well.
